Meet our Rescues

Charlie came to us on  Nov. 1,  2016 when he and three siblings were thrown away at approx. 5 weeks old. Cold, wet and hungry we fed him for four days before we were able to catch  him.  After the loss of Molly our border collie of 10 1/2 yrs our hearts were broken and Charlie was just the little ray of light we needed.  Charlie is my office buddy and likes sleep all day and play all night.   Now after four years, he has a little brother named Enzo that will keep him occupied.

On July 19th, 2019,  Enzo and a sibling were thrown out of a car  on 4th & Main, just outside our store.  Both he and his sibling  were taken from their mother at approx. 3 weeks old, left on the curb and  fell into the storm drain sewer.  The Racine Fire and Police Departments were called and they shut down Main Street but were only able to retrieve one of the kittens.  A second attempt was made a few days later to retrieve the other sibling but was unsuccessful. Enzo is now a happy, crazy energetic adolescent  and enjoys greeting our  customers and hanging out in the windows.

On October 24th, 2021 we acquired the newest member of our team, Bear our tri-colored border collie from a loving family in Wisconsin.  Due to unforeseen medical issues they were unable to to give bear the attention that he required and they choose us to be his new family.  Bear is with us 24 hours a day, work, home and play and he is joy to be around. He is still a crazy puppy with plenty of energy to keeps us going.

On behalf of Charlie, Enzo and Bear,  we ask that you PLEASE be a responsible pet owner and spay and neuter your pet.  Life is to precious to throw away.
